What do I need to do participate in ALP?
Return the Site Preference Form and a $25 dollar deposit to the ALP Table during lunch on the week of Oct. 24-28. If you know for a fact you are going to be unable to make one of the trip dates, mark an “X” through that date. After you have received your trip assignments, donate a good for the ALP Silent Auction.
Where is ALP going this year?
Some trip destinations are still up in the air, but so far the confirmed sites are:
- Miami, FL
- Berkeley, CA
- Tuscon, AZ
- San Diego, CA
- Florence, AZ
- El Paso, TX
Why is a deposit required?
In order to make sure we have a firm commitment from all participants, we ask that they submit a small deposit. The deposit will be non-refundable unless more people apply than there are spots available.

When can I expect to receive my trip assignment?
You can expect to receive your assignment during the week of Oct. 31.
What does ALP pay for and what do I pay for?
ALP pays for:
- Lodging within the site.
- Transportation to and from the site.
You will pay for:
- Transportation to the site.
- Living expenses during you week.
Are there any ways to offset those travel costs?
Yes, one time GAPSA grants are available. ALP will be hosting a GAPSA grant workshop on Oct. 26th. As the date nears check our website for more updates.
